BACKGROUND
Background
Staff proposes extending by one-year our Software as a Service (SaaS) agreement with INFOR (US), LLC for the purpose of maintaining our current INFOR / Lawson system and services. Guilford County uses Infor/Lawson for HR and Payroll processing as well as capital asset tracking and depreciation. Infor/Lawson’s account structure is maintained parallel to Munis to ensure the necessary accounting entries can be imported into Munis.
This one-year extension would be in the amount of $520,931.25 and would be effective September 1, 2022 through August 31, 2023. This renewal represents a 5% increase over our current agreement ($496,124.99).
