BACKGROUND
Background
Staff proposes extending by one-year our Software as a Service (SaaS) agreement with INFOR (US), LLC for the purpose of maintaining our current INFOR / Lawson system and services. Guilford County uses Infor/Lawson for Human Resources and Payroll processing as well as capital asset tracking and depreciation. Infor/Lawson’s account structure is maintained parallel to Munis, the County's financial ERP, to ensure the necessary accounting entries can be imported into Munis.
This one-year extension would be in the amount of $554,532 and would be effective September 1, 2023 through August 31, 2024. This renewal represents a 6.5% increase over our current agreement $520,932. Our current agreement was approved by the Board on August 4, 2022 with a 5% increase over the previous year.
