BACKGROUND
Background
On December 21, 2020, Guilford County was notified of the indefinite suspension of Security Innovations Protective Services, LLC's state licensure, rendering them unable to perform contractual services and resulting in the termination of their contract with the County effective December 24, 2020. In the interim, the County will engage North State Security Group, LLC (dba North State Company Police) to provide unarmed security services at various county locations while a long-term security solution is identified.

Requested Action
Approve a contract, in substantial form, with North State Security Group, LLC (dba North State Company Police) in the amount of $217,442.79 effective December 21, 2020 for a ninety (90) day temporary period for unarmed security services at various county locations.
