BACKGROUND
Background
In 2014, the Sheriff's Office was awarded sole source exception to use Norment Security Group, Inc. to provide maintenance to the existing Strike Industries Inmate Video Visitation System and the Airteq/Norment detention hardware installed in Jail Central (Greensboro). The original five (5) year service agreement has expired.
The Sheriff's Office is requesting to maintain the sole source exception to use Norment Security Group, Inc., 621 Poole Drive, Garner, NC 27579 to provide maintenance to the video visitation system and the Airteq/Norment detention hardware installed in Jail Central. Under this extended warranty the Vendor will provide:
1. Software Programming Support, & major beneficial revision updates of the Norment provided OnSSI video management system. This extends to the current camera count listed on the equipment Attachment ‘B’.
2. Security Electronic Hardware Replacement: Covers all equipment listed in Attachment ‘B’ of this document to include CCTV, Intercom, PLC control and Touch Screen PCs, and Video Visitation.
3. Hard-line Preventative Maintenance Inspection: Norment provided security Detention slider and swing door devices: Clean, lubricate, perform visual inspections, align and replace minor parts as needed to ensure proper operation of devices.

5. Yearly Refresher Training Sessions
