BACKGROUND
background
Agenda item 2022-302 awarded the design and construction administration services to WGI Inc. for repairs to the Truist and Plaza parking decks. The original contracts had termination dates of April 30, 2023 for the design, bidding and construction administration for the Truist deck and Plaza deck. Due to delays in design as a result of site conditions and design approvals, purchasing schedule needs, permitting delays and construction scheduling delays, the contract end date needs to change to October 30, 2024. This extension will allow WGI to wrap up construction close-outs, punch lists and final billing.
