BACKGROUND

Background

The County Vehicle Replacement Plan, approved as part of the Fiscal Year 2023 budget, included the purchase of five (5) replacement vehicles for use as Quick Response Vehicles.  Vehicles are under unusually high demand in the upcoming fiscal year, and have to purchased through a allocation method with vendors.  We need to get the vehicle approved and in the hands of the vendor for the allocation process. A thorough review of the current fleet and condition of vehicles resulted in the department requesting the below allocation, all within budgeted funds.

All pricing and requirements of the NC Sheriff's Association vehicle procurement program have been vetted by Guilford County Purchasing.
