BACKGROUND
Background
The first budget amendment transfers $28,000 from County Manager's contingency to County Administration - Education & Training. The purpose of the transfer is to provide funding for twenty (20) county employees to participate in the National Association of Counties (NACO) High Performance Leadership Academy. Transfers were approved by the County Manager, or designee thereof, under authority granted in the FY2023 Budget Ordinance, Section 10.
The Room Occupancy & Tourism Development Fund was amended by $892,627 to reflect actual revenues received in FY2022 to remit to the Guilford County Tourism Development Authority and City of High Point due to continued strong economic growth and recovery. This amendment was approved by the County Manager, or designee thereof, under authority granted in the FY2022 Budget Ordinance, Section 4.

Receive Budget Amendment report for budget amendments processed under the authority granted to the County Manager in the Budget Ordinance which includes: transfer of $28,000 from County Manager's Contingency fund for Education and Training for High Performance Leadership training, and an $892,627 budget amendment to the Room Occupancy &Tourism Development fund to reflect actual revenues received in FY2022.
