BACKGROUND
Background
During the Board's July 29, 2022 work session, Cooperative Extension staff presented their ARPA RFI proposal to develop a county-wide plan to coordinate data-sharing and communication that would align resources for food security within Guilford County. The proposal has received commitments of monetary and programmatic support from community partners, contingent upon county funding.

Requested Action
Approve the use of American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding to develop a county-wide Food Security Plan that would coordinate data-sharing, communication and align resources within Guilford County, and authorize all necessary budget transfers.
