BACKGROUND
Background
The Guilford County Sheriff's Office is in the beginning stages of operating a Real Time Crime Center (RTCC). The Real Time Crime Center (RTCC) uses computer software integrated into camera feeds which trained personnel may view on multiple monitors in one location. This allows law enforcement to do so much more with the number of personnel currently employed. FUSUS is the only provider for the necessary software and hardware to allow Sheriff's Office personnel to view camera feeds from cameras already in operation throughout Guilford County. The cameras are either owned by local businesses or other government agencies. The annual amount of the contract is $65,000. Contract will be for a period of three years with a maximum exposure of $195,00 and will provide for the needed software and hardware to make it possible to live stream and view these camera feeds in real-time, as events are happening.
