BACKGROUND
Background
Pursuant to N.C.G.S. 158-71, the Guilford County Board of Commissioners is requested to hold a public hearing to receive public input on the proposed allocation of funds for an economic development incentive grant in the amount of $41,630 to IQE, Inc. to support the development of a facility expected to generate approximately $7 million in capital investment and 31 new full-time jobs. One of the sites being considered is located within Guilford County.

REQUESTED ACTION
Requested Action
Pursuant to N.C.G.S. 158-7.1, conduct a public hearing and approve an economic development incentive in the amount of $41,630 to IQE, Inc. to support the development of a new facility expected to generate approximately $7 million in capital investment and thirty-one (31) new full-time jobs. Upon approval, authorize county staff to take all necessary actions to execute the incentive agreement.
