BACKGROUND
Background
Duke Energy Carolinas, LLC has a need for an easement on the frontage of 5801 Bur-Mill Club Road, Greensboro, NC (Parcel #: 85699) for the installation of a new power delivery line. Duke Energy Carolinas will access the property from the frontage located on Battleground Avenue and install overhead power lines along the southern border of the site. The easement will be thirty feet (30') in width as described on the easement attached. The property is owned by the County.

Requested Action
Authorize staff to enter into the requested easement, in substantial form, to Duke Energy Carolinas, LLC to allow the installation of overhead lines of electrical service located at 5801 Bur-Mill Club Road, Greensboro, NC, and authorize staff to take all reasonable actions to finalize and execute said easement.
