BACKGROUND
Background
The U. S. Department of Health and Human Services awarded the North Carolina Family Planning Program, additional one time Title X funding to support enhancement of Title X Family Planning Services. Public Health has been awarded an additional $15,000 in Title X funding to expand the Regional Vasectomy Program and provide an additional 25 vasectomies between December 1, 2021 and March 31, 2022. The additional award will allow Public Health to provide a total of 83 vasectomies at a cost of $600.00 per procedure for FY21-22. Public Health contracts with various regional medical offices to provide the vasectomies at a reduce cost to the participant.

Requested Action
