BACKGROUND
Background
This report and action plan will help us identify broadband infrastructure gaps and needs for consideration of future development and hopefully inform higher impact strategy and investment with our American Rescue Plan Act funding, additional Federal infrastructure funding, and additional State funding. We are seeking a comprehensive understanding of the broadband access and adoption landscape across the county, what our residents need to access and adopt broadband, and what we can do as a county government organization to address access and adoption barriers and needs.

Approve proposal and authorize staff to proceed with the contract with Guidehouse to formulate a comprehensive understanding of the broadband access and adoption landscape across the county, what our residents need to access and adopt broadband, and what we can do as a county government organization to address access and adoption barriers and needs.
