BACKGROUND
Background
Guilford County uses Lawson as their Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software tool. We have been a Lawson customer since 2006.
Infor software is currently used to perform County Human Resources, and payroll processing. In November 2020, Guilford County moved its core Financial, Purchasing, and Contract Management functions to Tyler Munis from Lawson and are in the process of moving the HR / Payroll functions to Tyler Munis, planned to go-live in January 2022.
By renewing our current agreement with Infor, we will be able to continue using the software to perform the necessary HR/ Payroll functions. Additionally, it will provide County teams with an opportunity to begin the archive project to ensure continued access to Infor data after the migration to Munis is complete. The cost to renew the agreement is $496,124.99 for a one (1) year term beginning September 1, 2021.
