BACKGROUND
Background
Emergency Services, in coordination with Facilities and Budget & Management Services, began a project to replace the Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) at the Summerfield 800 MHz trucked public safety radio tower in FY 2020-21, to be funded with departmental funds. The project required an informal bid, and was bid under Guilford County event numbers (20024 initial, 20028 rebid #1, and 20029 rebid #2). The initial bid did not receive any bidders and the rebid process pushed the bid to the end of the fiscal year after the FY 2020-21 budget appropriation expired with funds falling to fund balance so the funding will need to be re-appropriated in FY 2021-22. Total cost of the project will be $46,482.
