BACKGROUND
background
Responses for Bid Event 20004 were due by March 25, 2021, and staff recommends awarding price only contracts totaling $1,656,224.20 to Aramark Correctional Services, LLC, to provide food services for inmates housed in the Guilford County Jail Central (Greensboro) and High Point Detention Center, and Guilford County Juvenile Detention Center at the rates listed below:

Approve price only contracts, in substantial form, with Aramark Correctional Services, LLC to provide food services to inmates housed in the Guilford County Jail Central (Greensboro) and High Point Detention Center in the amount of $1,415,280.40, as well as, Guilford County Juvenile Detention Center in the amount of $240,943.80, for an initial term of one (1) year, with four (4) one-year renewal options.
