BACKGROUND
Background
During their June 18, 2020 regular meeting, the Guilford County Board of Commissioners received a report from the Clerk and held a public hearing on the bond order authorizing $300,000,000 in general obligation bonds for schools. Pursuant to S.L. 2020-3 amendments to N.C.G.S. 166A-19.24(e), the Board provided twenty-four (24) hours beyond the public hearing to receive public comments prior to voting on the bond order.

Adopt a bond order and accompanying resolution placing a bond election question on the November 3, 2020 ballot put authorization of $300,000,000 in general obligation bonds for school facilities before County voters.
