BACKGROUND
Background
The Guilford County Sheriff’s Office is requesting approval to purchase Law Enforcement vehicles from the listed dealers and contracts numbers:
One (1) Ford F-250 Pickup, will be purchased on NC Sheriff’s Association Contract 19-05-0911R, Asheville Ford Lincoln LLC, 611 Brevard Road, Asheville, NC 28806, $32,188.73.
One (1) Ford F-150 Pickup, will be purchased on NC Sheriff’s Association Contract 19-05-0911R, Asheville Ford Lincoln LLC, 611 Brevard Road, Asheville, NC 28806, $32,243.25.
One (1) Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Pickup, will be purchased on NC Sheriff’s Association Contract 19-05-0911R, Modern Chevrolet of Winston Salem, 5955 University Parkway, Winston Salem, NC 27105, $28,936.10.
Two (2) Ford T-150 Cargo Vans, will be purchased on NC Sheriff’s Association Contract 19-05-0911R, Piedmont Truck Center, 412 South Regional Raod, Greensboro, NC 27409, $53,964.58.
Two (2) Ford T-350 Cargo Vans, will be purchased on NC Sheriff’s Association Contract 19-05-0911R, Piedmont Truck Center, 412 South Regional Road, Greensboro, NC 27409, $71,434.21.
Fourteen (14) Ford Interceptor Utility AWD, will be purchased on NC Sheriff’s Association Contract 19-05-0911R, Performance Ford, 213 Southeast Boulevard, Clinton, NC 28328, $692,160.00.
One (1) Dodge Durango Pursuit AWD, will be purchased on NC Sheriff’s Association Contract 19-05-0911, Performance Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, 605 Warsaw Raod, Clinton, NC 28328, $41,380.87.
Three (3) Prisoner Transport Van-Cells from lowest bidder not to exceed $15,000 each, total cost with sales tax $48,037.50.
The purchase will not exceed $1,010,000. These vehicles are replacing aging vehicles, due to high mileage and increasing maintenance costs.
