BACKGROUND
Background
Duke Energy Carolinas has a need for an easement on the frontage of 1002 West Vandalia Road, Greensboro, NC (Parcel #: 049400) for the installation of a new power delivery line that will serve the new Guilford County EMS Maintenance and Logistics Facility. Duke Energy Carolinas will access the property from the frontage located on West Vandalia Road and feed three-phase power to the site. The property is owned by the County.

Requested Action
Approval to provide the requested easement, in substantial form, to Duke Energy Carolinas to provide electrical service to the new EMS Maintenance and Logistics Facility located at 1002 West Vandalia Rd., Greensboro, NC, and authorize staff to take all reasonable actions to finalize and execute said easement.
