REQUESTED ACTION
Requested Action
Designate up to $800,000 for the purpose of increasing the salaries for Guilford County School Bus Drivers to a minimum or $15 per hour and satisfy any compression in salaries accordingly. The final amount designated for this increase must be confirmed and verified by both the Guilford County School staff and the Guilford County staff prior to release of funds.
Designate $370,000 towards the salary increases of any and all full-time Guilford County employees currently under a $15 hourly rate to a minimum of $15 per hour and calculate any compression funds needed for the increase in salaries.
Final numbers are to be verified and confirmed by the appropriate County staff with the source of funding to be from remaining unexpended dollars associated with the purchase of the Elections machines. Authorize staff to make any necessary budget amendments associated with funding disbursement.
All public records requests from Guilford County to Guilford County Schools must be filled in full prior to any disbursement of funds.
