BACKGROUND
Background
The City of Greensboro Metropolitan Planning Organization prepared the Enhance Elderly and Persons with Disability Program grant 5310 application budget for FY 2018-19 which was submitted to the Federal Transit Authority last fiscal year. This year, the grant application includes funding for 1,892 additional trips for the county's public transit system. The County must apply for the grant and then sign an inter-local agreement with the City of Greensboro. The county's portion of the grant application was submitted on April 18, 2019 to the City of Greensboro. Attached is a summary of the grant request and the authorizing resolution. The total amount of the county's portion of the 5310 grant is $50,197, and the county is required to match 100%. All funds are included in the budget.
