The following appointments and reappointments to various Boards and Commissions are presented for Board consideration:
Fire District Commission - Stokesdale
Reappoint Laura J. Gibson to 2nd Term (October 2019 - October 2021)
Health & Human Services Advisory Board
Reappoint Commissioner Melvin "Skip" Alston to 2nd Term as Commissioner Representative (September 2019 - September 2021)
High Point Convention and Visitors Bureau
Appoint Kenneth Lile to 1st Term as Large Hotel Representative (*Will complete term of predecessor beginning October 2019 through December 2019 and begin first term January 1, 2020 thru December 31, 2022)
Nursing Home Community Advisory Committee
Appoint Loraine Neill to 1st Term (September 2019 - September 2022)
*During the September 19, 2019 BOC regular meeting, Ms. Neill was appointed to the Adult Care Home Community Advisory Committee; however, her preference and original intent when she completed the online application is to serve on the Nursing Home Community Advisory Committee.
