BACKGROUND
background
The NC Administrative Office of the Courts (NCAOC) created the Magistrate Video Project (MVP) to allow county law enforcement to communicate with a magistrate to perform initial processes and appearances remotely using video technologies chosen or approved by the NCAOC. The amended agreement approves the use of Cisco Video Clients as the primary software platform to operate MVP. The prior software, Jabber, will be decommissioned in December 2019 and the amended agreement must be approved to maintain seamless communication and service.
