BACKGROUND
background
Guilford Juvenile Detention contracts with Aramark Services, Inc. to provide food services for detained juveniles. The initial contract was for one (1) year with the option for four (4) additional one (1) year renewals and both parties now wish to modify the terms by extending the contract period from July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020, with one (1) remaining option to renew.

Approve a one (1) year contract renewal agreement, in substantial form, between Guilford County Juvenile Detention Center and Aramark Services, Inc for food service from July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020, with the maximum financial exposure to the County for all goods and/or services not to exceed $202,717.
