BACKGROUND
Background
Aramark Correctional Services, LLC was awarded a one-year contract to provide food services for the Sheriff's Detention facilities in FY 2016-17. The original price only contract was competitively bid through Guilford County’s E-purchasing System, Event #528.
The Sheriff’s Office and the vendor have agreed to renew the agreement for FY 2019-20 and include a 2.1% increase, in accordance with the consumer price index for the month of April 2019. The Greensboro and High Point jail extensions are not expected to exceed $1,772,866.

Approve contract renewal with Aramark Correctional Services, LLC for a (1) one-year term, beginning on July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020. Costs are not expected to exceed $1,772,866 for the Sheriff's Office Detention Facilities.
