BACKGROUND
Background
The Juvenile Crime Prevention Council (JCPC) voted to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the use of the funds within Guilford County to qualified and evaluation-processed community-based programs targeting delinquent or gang-involved youth (ages 10-17), or those at risk of juvenile court involvement. A copy of the RFP is attached. Twenty-four programs responded to the RFP. Based on the JCPC's review of the RFP's, the council voted on April 25, 2019 in favor of the following allocation recommendation for FY2019-20: $987,774 state funds and $84,383 in County Match funding.
