BACKGROUND
Background
The attached contract is proposed to be effective for a three (3) year term beginning July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2022 with a County option to renew and extend for two (2) additional one-year terms.
All costs to Guilford County charged by Synergy Recycling, LLC for the management of such materials will be offset by revenues generated as part of this contract. Services provided by Synergy Recycling, LLC have been acceptable to date, and meet the electronics disposal needs of Guilford County. Electronics disposal cost is estimated to be approximately $80,000 for FY 2018-19.
Based on current FY 2018-19 budget of $113,520, disposal cost for FY 2019-20 is projected at $80,000 resulting in an anticipated decrease of approximately $33,520 between the two (2) fiscal years.
