BACKGROUND
Background
On February 28, 2019, Event 645 went out for bid to solicit janitorial and floor maintenance service for the Greensboro Courthouse located at 201 S. Eugene Street, Greensboro. On March 11, 2019, a mandatory pre-bid meeting was held followed by an immediate walk-through at the Greensboro Courthouse. Bids were received on April 9, 2019. Millers Maintenance, LLC, was the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, for a one (1) year term beginning July 1, 2019 and ending June 30, 2020 with the option for four (4) one-year renewals at the same price, terms and conditions. The bid amount for the specified annual service is $201,960. This is a cost increase of $1,320 (0.7%) compared to the current fiscal year.
