BACKGROUND
background
Bid Event # 647 was released in February 2019 to establish a second five-year, price only contract for reagents and supplies to perform the Nucleic Acid Amplification Testing for the detection of Neisseria Gonorrhea, Chlamydia trachomatis and Trichomonas. The contract was awarded again to Gen-Probe Sales and Service, Inc, a subsidiary of Hologic, Inc. The contract will be for five (5) years beginning May 1, 2019 and ending April 30, 2024 at the same price, terms and conditions. The total contract amount is $1,150,000, or $230,000 annually.
