BACKGROUND
Background
At the 2-25-19 Board of County Commissioners Annual Budget Retreat, the Board approved projects and a plan to issue $10,000,000 "two-thirds" general obligation bonds to fund these School Facilities Security projects.
At the 3-21-2019 Board of County Commissioners meeting, the Board approved resolutions (1) made certain required findings; (2) introduced a bond order authorizing $10,000,000 “two-thirds” general obligation bonds for schools, including without limitation schools security ; (3) call a public hearing on the bond order to be held at this meeting on April 4, 2019.

REQUESTED ACTION
Requested Action
1) Hear report from the Clerk regarding bond order authorizing issuance of two-thirds bonds;
2) Hold public hearing regarding adoption of bond order authorizing two-thirds bonds not to exceed $10,000,000 for school security purposes;
3) Adopt bond order authorizing issuance of Series 2019A general obligation public building bonds for a total of $10,000,000.
