BACKGROUND
Background
Guilford County, in concert with UNCG, runs an opioid post reversal follow-up program called GCSTOP for citizens at risk of overdose. GCSTOP employs a number of academically validated harm reduction strategies. A community member has made a $5,000 donation to the program specifically designated to purchase medical supplies affiliated with the program. The donor wished to remain anonymous.

Requested Action
Approve an increase of $5,000 in Other Revenues and increase the FY 2018-19 Emergency Services budget by the same amount to reflect a donation designated to the GCSTOP program for purchase of medical supplies.
