BACKGROUND
Background
DHHS-Public Health Division receives funds from the NC Division of Public Health, Women’s and Children’s Health Branch for Maternal and Child Health Programs. NCDHHS awarded DHHS Public Health a one-time mini grant to positively impact the communities maternal and child health outcomes and build Local Health Department capacity to address health equity and social determinate of health. Funds awarded by this one-time grant will be used to purchase medical and safety equipment.
