BACKGROUND
Background
The Guilford County Sheriff’s Office is requesting approval to purchase Law Enforcement vehicles from the listed dealers and contracts numbers:
One (1) Chevrolet Tahoe, will be purchased on NC Sheriff’s Association Contract 19-05-0911, Capital Chevrolet, 1820 Capital Blvd. Raleigh, NC 27604, $41, 642.00.
Three (3) Replacement Undercover Vehicles (Used Late Model) with Local Dealerships not to exceed $90,000.
Four (4) Dodge Caravans, will be purchased on NC Sheriff’s Association Contract 19-05-0911, Performance Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, 605 Warsaw Rd. Clinton, NC 28328, $103,396.40.
Fifteen (15) Dodge Charger Pursuit AWD, will be purchased on NC Sheriff’s Association Contract 19-05-0911, Performance Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, 605 Warsaw Rd. Clinton, NC 28328, $522,739.00.
Eight (8) Dodge Durango Pursuit AWD, will be purchased on NC Sheriff’s Association Contract 19-05-0911, Performance Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, 605 Warsaw Rd. Clinton, NC 28328, $251,426.00.
Four (4) Ford Transit F350 Prisoner Vans, will be purchased on NC Sheriff’s Association Contract 19-05-0911, Piedmont Truck Center Inc., 412 S. Regional Rd, Greensboro, NC 27409, $134,800.00.
The purchase will not exceed $1,144,003.40. These vehicles are replacing aging vehicles, due to high mileage and increasing maintenance costs.
