BACKGROUND
background
DHHS - Public Health Division Updates:
1. Update on deaths, outbreaks, and illness from influenza (flu) among Guilford County
residents, in Guilford County schools, and in the State of North Carolina.
2. Reaccreditation Site Visit: Guilford County Public Health received their Reaccreditation Site Visit on January 16-17, 2019. The Audit Report of Findings was received by the department on January 28, 2019. The recommendations from the Report will be shared with BOC/BOH.
3. Results of the recent groundwater sampling for Per and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) in select areas of Greensboro will be shared with the Board along with next-step action items.
4. The annual State of the County’s Health Report will be shared with the Board for review and adoption.
