BACKGROUND
Background
The Duke Endowment, in partnership with Ready for School, Ready for Life and Root Cause, has awarded the following Guilford County Public Health programs - Pregnancy Care Management (PCM), Care Coordination for Children (CC4C), Guilford Family Connects and WIC - $5,000 each in funding for a total of $20,000. The four cohort members will receive coaching from a Root Cause consultant over a 24-month period (July 2018-June 2020) to strengthen their Continuous Quality Improvement capacity to improve parent and child outcomes.
The funding will be utilized for general operating support.

Requested Action
Approve an increase of $20,000 in Other Revenues and increase the FY2018-19 Department of Health & Human Services -Public Health Division budget by the same amount to reflect funds received from The Duke Endowment, in partnership with Ready for School, Ready for Life and Root Cause, for general operating support in the following Guilford County DHHS-Public Health programs: Pregnancy Care Management (PCM), Care Coordination for Children (CC4C), Guilford Family Connects and WIC.
