BACKGROUND
Background
The City of Greensboro has approved and prioritized plans for a streetscape project for Summit Avenue (Project #P-05727-01). An appraisal was conducted and they found the value of the County property located at 715 Summit Avenue to be $9.16 per square foot. There is 131 square feet of area needed by the City, which will be a Permanent Easement, with an additional 296 square feet needed for a Temporary Construction Easement. The value for the parcel to be a Permanent Easement to the City is 100% of the estimated value, or $1,200.00, while the Temporary Construction Easement is valued at 25% of the estimated value, or $675.00. The total to be paid to the County will be $1,875.00. This is subject to approval by the City Council or the Council's offical designated agent.

Requested Action
