BACKGROUND
Background
The City of Greensboro has approved and prioritized plans for a sidewalk project for West Wendover/Sapp Rd (Project #P05781-01). An appraisal was conducted and they found the value of the County property located at 4525 W Wendover Avenue to be $23.50 per square foot. There is 48 square feet of area needed by the City, which will be purchased, with an additional 375 square feet needed for a Temporary Construction Easement. The value for the parcel to be purchased by the City is 100% of the estimated value, or $1,150.00, while the Temporary Construction Easement is valued at 10% of the estimated value, or $900.00. The total to be paid to the County will be $2,050.00. This is subject to approval by the City Council or the Council's offical designated agent.
