BACKGROUND
Background
The FY2018-19 budget included an allocation of $987,774 ($84,383 in County Cash Match is included).
The JCPC voted to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the use of the funds within Guilford County to qualified and evaluation processed community-based programs targeting delinquent or gang involved youth (ages 10-17), or those at risk of juvenile court involvement. A copy of the RFP is attached. Twelve agencies responded to the RFP. Based on the JCPC's review of the RFP's, the council voted on April 26, 2018 in favor of the following allocation recommendation for FY2018-19. A copy of the funding plan is attached.
Note: These JCPC funds are state funds and the County allocation is already included in this year’s budget.
