BACKGROUND
Background
Guilford County Department of Health and Human Services - Public Health Division has received an award in the amount of $ 5,000 from Delta Dental Foundation; a nonprofit, charitable organization that provides financial support to various community organizations and programs, which promote/provide oral health care for children through its Smiles for Kids Grant Program. This grant will provide treatment for children who have been identified through in-school dental screenings with urgent dental needs and are unable to find care due to inability to pay. The dental clinic expects to serve 18-20 children. Funds will be used for medical supplies at the dental clinic.

Requested Action
Approve an increase of $5,000 in Other Revenues and increase the FY 2017-18 Health and Human Services - Public Health Division budget by the same amount to reflect revenues received from the Delta Dental Foundation for child dental services.
