Local reentry councils are developed to coordinate resources in the local community in an effort to provide assistance for returning citizens and their families that will facilitate a better transition from incarceration back into Guilford County.
The Sheriff's Office is also requesting a new non-sworn Re-Entry Coordinator position to coordinate/manage this program to be contingent on continued grant funding. This position is estimated to cost between $49,780 and $67,101 including benefits, depending on hiring salary.
