BACKGROUND
background
The Joint School Capital Facilities Committee solicited proposals from consultants to perform a School Assignment Optimization and Facility Condition Assessment for Guilford County Schools and Administration Facilities. Five proposals were received and a qualifications based selection process was conducted that included on-site interviews with three of the firms. The Committee selected MGT Consulting Group of Tallahassee, Florida and negotiated a scope of work and compensation. On January 10th the Committee voted unanimously to recommend approval of the agreement with MGT Consulting Group to the Board of Commissioners and the Board of Education.
The recommended scope of work includes the following services and deliverables:
