BACKGROUND
Background
Guilford County DHHS- Public Health is a regional training center for CPR certification. Effective immediately, the American Heart Association (AHA) has increased the cost of the Heart Saver cards provided to class participants from $2.30 per card to $17.00 per card. Public Health is requesting to increase the fee associated with these cards from $5.00 to $20.00 to accommodate the increased cost. This fee will be passed on to instructors. Public Heath expects to issue approximately 700 cards for the remainder of FY 2017-18
