BACKGROUND
background
The Purchasing Department conducted online event # 573 in the Guilford County eProcurement System to purchase uniforms for the Emergency Medical Services Department. Four bids were received. One bid was rejected when the bidder informed us that their bid reflected capacity required to fulfill the specifications, but that they did not have that capacity. Of the three responsive bids, the firm, Streicher's, Inc., was the lowest, responsive responsible bidder. The initial contract is for three (2) years and will end on June 30, 2019. The contract has three (3) additional one-year renewal options. The annual cost is $56,195. The total cost for the initial two-year contract term is $112,390.
