BACKGROUND

Background

On the 4th day of May, the Guilford County Board of Commissioners adopted the Final Assessment Roll for the Lynwood Lakes Estates Subdivision & C.V. Dick Subdivision in the amount $1,276,873.40.  It has been determined by the City of Greensboro that the easement lines have rendered the property located at 2901 Charolais Drive, Parcel ID 0134456, and owned by James & Elizabeth Paskalides, as non-buildable. Mr. Paskalides has confirmed with staff that a verbal agreement has been reached with the City for the purchase of the lot and is scheduled for City Council approval in August. By waiving the assessment amount of $2300 this will reduce the total assessment roll amount to $1,274,573.40.
