BACKGROUND
Background
Guilford County competitively solicited bids for janitorial services in the Greensboro Courthouse and entered into a contract with Omnico Incorporated on July 1, 2014. The contract was renewed on July 1, 2015, and July 1, 2016. Guilford County would like to renew the contract from August 1, 2017 through July 31, 2018 (leaving 1 remaining renewal option). Omnico Incorporated is a minority owned business.

REQUESTED ACTION
Requested Action
Approve awarding the renewal contract to Omnico Incorporated, in substantial form, to perform janitorial services at the Greensboro Courthouse. Contract term will be effective August 1, 2017 through July 31, 2018. Contract amount will be as follows:
Janitorial Services - $12,890.00 monthly ($154,680.00 annually)
Quarterly Services - $7,050.00 per quarter ($28,200.00 annually)
Day Porter Services - $1,480.00 monthly ($17,760.00 annually)
Total Contract Amount - $200,640.00
