BACKGROUND
Background
The purpose of this requested action is to realign Federal/State Funds appropriated with actual Federal/State Funds awarded to Health and Human Services - Social Services for FY 2017. There are three changes that are included in the modification to Federal/State Funds.
1) Smart Start revenue is increasing by $74,480 to $1,935,620
2) Childcare and Development Fund revenue is increasing by $111,008 to $20,790,906
3) Home and Community Care Block Grant (HCCBG) Adult Daycare revenue is increasing by $82,161 to $235,905.
Health and Human Services - Social Services division expenses will also be increased by $267,649 to reflect the increase in Federal/State Funds.
