BACKGROUND
Background
The NORTH CAROLINA DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE AND CONSUMER SERVICES, specifically the NC Forest Service, and Guilford County have allowed the Forest Service to use 448 net square feet of office space at the Guilford County owned property located at 3309 Burlington Road, Greensboro, NC, commonly referred to as the Agricultural Extension Center. The NC Forest Service would now like to enter into a Lease on May 1, 2017. The NC Forest Service would like to enter into a one (1) year Lease, expiring April 30, 2018 at the compensation rate of $4,480.00 annually.

Requested Action
Approve, in substantial form, a one (1) year lease agreement for rental of office space at 3309 Burlington Rd, Greensboro, NC, to the NC Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services and authorize staff to take all reasonable actions to finalize and execute said lease.
