BACKGROUND
background
On August 26, 2015, Guilford County entered into a contract with Malachi House II to provide cleaning, animal care, and maintenance services at the GUilford County Animal Shelter. An amendment was executed to extend the terms of the contract for the period of July 1, 2016 through December 31, 2016. This amendment (amendment 2) is being requested to extend the same terms of the contract to cover the period of January 1, 2017 through June 30, 2017. The expected financial exposure for this amendment is not expected to exceed $170,000, with an aggregate total for this fiscal year totaling, and not expected to exceed, the figure of $340,000.
