BACKGROUND
Background
The Sheriff's Office is in need of updated surveillance equipment to assist officers in the investigation of sensitive cases. Our Special Operations Division will utilize this equipment in drug-related cases, as well as, serious crimes against persons, such as homicide and rape. The purchase of this equipment is crucial to the thorough investigation of these cases, and will assist the department in its ongoing efforts to ensure the safety of Guilford County citizens.
