BACKGROUND
Background
Guilford County Emergency Management has been awarded two (2) grants from North Carolina Emergency Management (NCEM), through the 2016 Homeland Security Grant Program, for the purposes of conducting two (2) disaster exercises. NCEM MOA #1604-32 in the amount of $18,000 is for the purpose of coordinating and conducting a full scale exercise to evaluate the procedures for an active shooter incident within a school. NCEM MOA #1602-22 in the amount of $40,000 is for the purpose of coordinating and hosting the statewide Incident Management Team Exercise, to be held at Haw River State Park in February 2017.
